Get to Know Adam Ingersoll

This interview is a part of the EEDC's Get to Know the Owner Series.

Tell me a little more about yourself

I'm a Native Coloradan, born and raised in the foothills up Hwy 285. I attended CU, got my undergrad in operations management, and then went received my Master's Degree in Accounting. The plan was to be a CPA, but towards the end of my schooling, I realized I wanted to be in a role with more interaction with people. That is what lead me to go the banking route.

I landed at FirstBank because I was attracted to their more generalist model being able to support a wide variety of customer needs. We have lived in Erie since 2014 and I have 2 little girls that attend Red Hawk.

I'm currently Co-Treasurer with the Erie Chamber of Commerce and try to stay actively involved in other trade organizations/departments around the area like the Longmont Economic Development Partnership, Adams County Regional Economic Partnership, Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Commerce City Economic Development Department.

Tell me about your business:

Currently, I am a Senior Vice President with FirstBank working primarily in the Longmont, Firestone, and Erie markets. My home office is the FirstBank here in Erie off Highway 7. I help clients realize business and real estate objectives on a daily basis. My focus will always be to develop long-term relationships with both my customers and referral sources to achieve lasting benefits for everyone I work with. My primary areas of expertise are Commercial Real Estate, Equipment & Fleet Financing, Operating Lines, and Business Acquisition. I am well-versed in both conventional and SBA facilities.

FirstBank does a significant amount of portfolio lending, which allows me as a lender to use common-sense underwriting and adapt to my client's needs. My goal is always to find a way to make the loan work for the customer in a way that benefits all parties involved. As a member of FirstBank's management team, my goal is to work closely with and provide the greatest benefit for the community in which I work.

What do you love about having your business in Erie?

I love Erie. I'm both personally and professionally invested in the success of Erie as a town. The business community here is important to me and I enjoy being able to support it throughout my work.
